ReCODE 2.0 Certified

You can stop, prevent, and even reverse Alzheimer’s Dementia!

At Colorado Concierge Functional Medicine we specialize in the Bredesen Protocol and Apollo Health’s ReCODE and PreCODE programs.

It is our mission to help you succeed and to support you as much as we can throughout your ReCODE or PreCODE journey. Dr. Dan LaPerriere and Rachel Nkwocha (ReCODE 2.0 Certified health coach) love doing this work and seeing the results that can be obtained.

Dr. Dan LaPerriere has been using Dr. Bredesen’s research to treat clients with cognitive impairment and dementia since 2016 when he first read Dr. Bredesen’s groundbreaking paper. In 2017, Dr. Dan completed Dr. Bredesen’s Reversing Cognitive Decline Advanced Training Course and became a certified provider. He has since become a ReCODE 2.0 Certified Practitioner and his practice has evolved such dementia now constitutes the majority of the work that he does.

Dr. Dan shares Dr. Bredesen’s mission to make Alzheimer’s dementia a disease of the past.

Dr. Dan is trained and proficient in administering bioidentical hormone therapy, reversing type 2 diabetes, optimizing gut health and nutrition, treating chronic inflammation, detoxification of heavy metals and environmental toxins, treating thyroid disease, treating and reversing cardiovascular disease, use of peptide therapy, testing for and using plasmalogen therapy, diagnosing and treating mold-related illness, treating autoimmune illness, and addressing chronic infections. While not an expert in Lyme disease and tickborne illness, Dr. Dan can diagnose and begin treatment for most individuals struggling with these issues and refer for expert care as needed.

While it is our mission to help you succeed, success is highly reliant on you being fully invested in the program.

Dr. Dan LaPerriere is licensed in multiple states and can obtain other state licenses if needed.

COCFM COGNITIVE PROGRAMS for ReCODE & PreCODE PARTICIPANTS

Who are these programs for?

The Cognitive Program for ReCODE Participants is for people who are manifesting cognitive difficulty/problems and who want to stop/reverse this process. The degree of cognitive difficulty can vary from subjective cognitive impairment (SCI), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), or a diagnosis of dementia. The initial year of the ReCODE program is much more intense than the initial PreCODE program year and provides you with unlimited access to Dr. Dan and your health coach to help you implement the Bredesen Protocol and achieve optimal results.

The Cognitive Program for PreCODE Participants is for the person who does not have any current cognitive symptoms but who wants to institute a strategy to prevent dementia. Frequently, this individual will have a genetic risk for Alzheimer’s disease such as a positive family history of Alzheimer’s disease or an ApoE4 gene.

START OF YOUR JOURNEY

Your ReCODE or PreCODE journey starts with a 45-minute consultation with Dr. Dan LaPerriere. The cost for this consultation is $100. During this consult Dr. Dan will perform a MoCA test (to determine your baseline cognitive status), assess your willingness to change, ability to stick with a regimented program, and potential obstacles to success, answer any questions you have about the program, and determine if you would be a good candidate to work us.

If you do sign up to work with this practice the $100 fee will go towards the cost of your annual program with COCFM.

The Cognitive Programs for ReCODE and PreCODE Participants both start with an intensive initial year of work together.  Following the initial year, there are different levels of ongoing care that you can choose from based on your level of ongoing needs so that we can help keep you on track and motivated on your RTeCODE or PreCODE journey.
