We are excited to announce that we have a PNOE unit which allows us to perform accurate metabolic testing!
PNOE is a non-invasive test that analyzes 23 biomarkers to asses vital areas of health including metabolism, cellular function, heart and lung fitness, fat burning efficiency, and biologic age.
There are 2 types of testing that can be performed, a resting metabolic test and an active metabolic test (VO2 Max).
The Resting Metabolic Test
This test measures your resting metabolic rate (RMR), which is the number of calories your body burns at rest. Knowing your RMR is extremely valuable if you want to lose weight or optimize your fitness.
This test assesses your RMR, metabolic fitness, fat-burning efficiency, and heart and lung fitness.
Along with these results, you will get actionable information on diet and lifestyle interventions to help you achieve your personal goals.
The test takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Active/VO2 Max Test
This test accurately measures your VO2 max (the maximum amount of oxygen an individual can utilize during intense or maximal exercise). VO2 Max is the best biomarker we have for longevity
This test will also provide a report on aerobic health, cardiovascular fitness, recovery capacity, fat-burning efficiency, and lung function in addition to VO2 max.
Along with these results, you will get actionable information on lifestyle interventions to help you achieve your goals. This will include training recommendations to help you improve your overall fitness and VO2 max.
The test takes about 30-45 minutes to complete.
